how to use a smart cooler
To open the door to make a purchase, swipe or tap your card and wait up to 10 seconds for your card to be preauthorized $10 and the door to unlock. After you hear the door 'click'/unlock, you can open the door. Grab one or as many items as you would like to buy. When you close the door, your card will be charged for any item(s) taken.
The preautorization charge will be removed from your account and the amount will not be charged.
After closing the door, remember to enter your email address on the digital screen to receive a receipt. Should you have issues with the amount or items charged, you can reply to the receipt, click here to contact support, or use your digital receipt to rate your experience providing details around the issue that occured. We will update your transaction and send you an updated receipt for your records. Should we not have your email, you will promptly see the transaction adjusted in your bank records.

We’ll address your inquiry promptly. If your email is linked to the transaction, you’ll receive an updated receipt. If not, you'll see the adjustment reflected in your bank account.
Why was I charged $10 more that the item amount, saw multiple charges on Apple Pay, or charged $10 even though I didn’t open the door?
Before a Smart Cooler door opens, your card is preauthorized to ensure a minimum balance of $10. Preauthorization charges do not settle and will disappear shortly.

Multiple swipes or taps: Preauthorization occurs each time and will result in temporary charges, all of which will clear the same day.

No door opened: It is impossible for the Smart Cooler to charge you if the door wasn’t opened. Any preauthorization will drop off without settling to your bank transactions.
I have allergies or dietary restrictions. How can I check item details?
Each item in our Veg’n Out Smart Coolers includes a label with ingredients and common allergens. For items produced by Veg’n Out or any of our production partners, detailed information can also be found:

Please review all item details carefully. Veg’n Out does not guarantee compliance with specific dietary requirements and reserves the right to adjust the menu at any time. While we prioritize health-forward, predominantly plant-based foods, customer discretion is advised.
Are all your items vegan or plant-based? Is the name pronounced "Vegan Out"? Wasn’t your retail store vegan?
Our name is Veg'n Out - you know, lay like broccoli? But we get the confusion. While our retail store only served wholistically-healthy plant-based food, our mission and brand continues to evolve to meet market demand for each of our Smart Cooler locations and partners. A key strategy will be to adjust our products to meet customer requirements, (whether they be plant-based, dairy, nut or gluten free, etc.) set by the contracting location.
You can be confidant that every item in the Veg'n Out Smart Coolers made and packaged by Veg'n Out will clearly label vegan items as such directly below the product name. You can also be confident there is no risk of cross contamination during production with any product labeled by Veg'n Out as vegan.
Packaged items that we resell will be labeled within their existing packages and will remain the responsibility of the customer to confirm contents for any dietary or allergy restrictions.
We are excited to share an upcoming rebrand to better serve the broader Orlando market without losing the Veg'n Out products, experience or our commitment to minimally processed whole foods.
You used to sell cleanses. Can I still order a cleanse?
We are taking a short hiatus from taking cleanse orders but will resume pre-orders for 01/11/25 delivery. Follow us on IG as we announce our New Year, Best You packages and subscription plans.
