Must have an upbeat, can-do attitude that delivers exceptional customer service, maintains a clean store, and is accountable for operational and product quality control.

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to get hands on hospitality and restaurant management experience in a growing sector.  Compensation is commiserate with experience. In-depth training provided across all functional areas of the store.

 

Requirements

 

  • Up to 30 hours per week

  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills

  • Hands-on experience in the restaurant, retail or hospitality industries preferred

  • Familiarity around, knowledge of or interest in plant-based food or holistic health

  • Strong communication skills with customers, teammates & management team

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Teamwork

  • Attention to detail with high standards of customer service and product quality

  • Constant cleanliness for oneself and others

  • Handles cash transactions & counts a register with ease

  • Joyful attitude and keen sense of emotional intelligence

  • Extended periods of standing (4-8 hours)

  • Reaching, bending, and lifting a minimum of 30 lbs

 

Role Overview

​

  • Ensure the store is prepared and presentable for the day with to-do list created and communicated to the appropriate support staff

  • Work hand-in-hand with store owner and GM to communicate and manage the operational details of the business

  • Serve customers while providing excellent customer service with high energy and in-depth knowledge about our products

  • Create menu items while simultaneously maintaining a clean workspace and appearance to the public

  • Document and communicate low calls for perishables and paper goods as they are noticed throughout a shift

  • Complete assigned checklists in totality for every shift worked

  • Manage quality control, date marking and putting away any deliveries using FIFO method during a shift

  • Manage juice cleanse sales, creation, blending and pickups

  • Open the front of house properly so the store is completely clean and prepared for the day while also providing direct feedback to closers for opportunities for improvement​

  • Complete weekly store inventory every Thursday or Friday

  • Professionally and directly communicates weekly business goals to staff, ensuring they understand and follow through upon prioritized deliverables
